The Disability Council is the official advisory body to the NSW Government. The purpose of the Council is to provide the Minister for Disability Services and NSW Government with independent advice on matters that affect people with disability in NSW.

  • Public Consultations on Guardianship reform.

    The Law Reform Commission is reviewing the Guardianship Act. If you are a person who makes decisions for someone else, whether as their guardian or financial manager or as their primary carer, relative or friend, or if you are a person who needs other people to help you make decisions or make decisions for you, we would love to hear your views on how well the system is working and whether it could be improved. Consultations are on 30 May and 1 June 2017. Click the link for details.
